LOADING YOUR CONTENT:Some customers like the idea of an editable website, but don't want to load the website initially as they are too busy. In those cases we can offer an initial content set-up, which can then be edited as normal. The price for this service depends on the amount and condition of the materials supplied (i.e. is it electronic or hand-written, do the pictures need editing etc...).
ANNUAL HOSTING: To host your database driven website, we need to maintain the database (that is behind the scenes), offer support (via email), maintain the modules and serve up the webpages on our web server. The annual fee for the two page version is £59 + VAT to cover support via email, hosting and use of the system (included in first year) and £249 + VAT for the 20+ web page version (included in the initial set-up for the first year).
MODULES: There a whole host of modules included in the various packages. Additional modules are available (new ones added regularly) that can be added to your website for a small set-up fee; plus a small addition to the annual support fee e.g. a Forum module (where your clients can make comments online against topics you set-up on the website).
ENHANCED: The 1kit toolkit comes as standard with a number of designs (skins) click to see options. If you want to tailor the toolkit to your corporate colours with a new design you can go for an Enhanced Skin; this will need to be costed on a case by case basis, as we will need to see your existing marketing materials, which we will use to derive the design from. As a guideline, we anticipate that most 'skins' would be less than £475 + VAT to build (this is also a one-off fee, unless you came back for additional revisions of course).
TERMS: Like any service you pay for, there must be some boundaries in which to work within. If you rent a car for the weekend, the hire company limit the miles you can travel, before they make an extra charge, similarly ....
Web Space: We have a standard webspace allocation of 15Mb (which is sufficient for most websites). To have a successful website, one should aim to make it as fast to access data as possible. To do this you should try to keep your images and files as optimised as possible. If you need to you can add to your allocation of space as you need to, in 10Mb intervals, which only costs an extra £5 p.a. per interval.
Bandwidth: This is the amount of content that visitors to your website can download in a month. The reality is, that the more people use your site, the more successful it is and the more (potentially) successful your business becomes. The standard package allows 500Mb of throughput a month and is included in your annual fee. Additional bandwidth is charged at £10 pm per extra 100Mb, which for most websites, one shouldn't need to exceed the bandwidth allocation.
